Can I serve as the company's plan administrator and recordkeeper?

It depends on whether your new business will have any employees other than yourself. If you will be a part owner of the business and the sole employee, you can serve as the Plan’s sole administrator and recordkeeper just like you would in a Solo 401K Plan.
