If I earned more than $5000 in 2011 ($6,000 if I was 50 or older by the end of 2011), is there a limit on how much I can contribute to a Traditional IRA?
Yes. For 2011, you can contribute to a traditional IRA up to:
- $5,000
- $6,000 if you were age 50 or older by the end of 2011
There is no upper limit on how much you can earn and still contribute.
